Rootsamala are a reggae band based in Malaga, Spain since 1990.

Angelo and Raquel (Rootsamala vocalists), have acheived their own personal style from their U.K lovers and roots influence, they have worked as backing vocals/band in live shows for many Reggae artists such as Don Campbell, Earl 16, Almighty Dread and B.D.F( Basque Dub Foundation), amongst others.

Over the years Rootsamala have also worked as promoters, bringing many international Reggae artists and organizing festivals and Reggae events in the south of Spain.
